Shell Pearls Necklace
I’ve decided to share some Auckland Beads archives with jewellery samples that have been made over the years by passionate staff. Here is a gorgeous necklace made of shell pearl, sterling silver components and rose quartz beads.
“Man made Sea Shell Pearls are created by repeatedly dipping a round matrix bead into a glowing, brilliantly colored solution of binders and crushed mother of pearl. They are polished and dipped, again and again, until they reach the size desired. They are very heavy, often much heavier than real pearls.” (Wikipedia)

Did you know that Turquoise jewellery is 90% of the time Howlite that has been dyed.
Howlite, in its natural state, look like cauliflower, is porous so easy to dyed. This stone is very popular because of its ressemblance to turquoise and its cheaper price.
Howlite is believed to have healing properties and help to calm and bring mental stability. Howlite is also good to reinforce bones and teeth.
Auckland Beads Team Inspiration.
As the weather is unlashing its winter wrath with heavy rain, gale and storm, we have decided to bring bit of colours in this very grey winter world. We made this very simple necklace but very colorful using Swarovski bicones 6mm in regular sequences. From left to right we used Siam, Rose, Fuschia, Indian Pink, Crystal Copper and Citrine. We use Sterling silver clasp and Soft Touch wire, medium size.
With its bright colours, this necklace will fit many outfits. What other combination could you use?
Did you know that Swarovski colour charts as over 100 colours to choose from? We can order bulk pack on request.
